What do vegetarians eat? They gave the lamest answers, not true>?!

Question: My girl friend is a vegetarian, well she isn't my girl friend anymore we broke up. But I still know what they eat.
They have artificial meat, morningstar farms, that has hot dogs and hamburgers and chicken patties. We ate vegetarian pizza it is pretty good. Artificial meat chili dogs.
Mexican food, and taco bell has bean burritos and 7 layer jobs that is not made with any animal fat. She wrote the company.
Our McDonalds would take her griller and add it to her hamburger instead of the meat. With french fries and coke no one knew. So for those of you out there who really are vegetarians give us some good recipes. Not baked squash and tofu turkey.

Couldn't you just ask with out mentioning your prior girl friend?
What exactly did that add to the question?
I am having a meat loaf with artificial meat, baked potatoes and gravy. Biscuits and fried okra, salad and other vegetable. What is wrong with squash?
That is a very sad commentary about she had to hide the fact she was eating artificial meat in her hamburger. But it is okay for others to eat the putrid rotting flesh of a dead animal.
We live in a violent society towards animals.
Are you going to tell us why your girl friend broke up with you?

I don't celebrate thanksgiving you dip stick. Why I answered your question I have no idea. Knowing you would be to stupid to understand a simple meal plan.
You still never said why you broke up with your previous girl friend? Wasn't it because she told you to find someone else?
Just curious?

U didn't think I would find out??? I had so much respect for you, I trusted you. If you do that now before we are married you will do it after.
I was looking for a man with integrity, I thought you were that man, I was wrong. I'm done!!!!!!! Report It

  • I eat a lot of the things you listed. Also, at Taco Bell I get a mexican pizza with no meat. That's one of my favorites. I also like broccoli and cheese baked potatoes.

well i am a vegetarian and i pretty much eat indian food because i am indian.

my diet consists of vegetables with spices and indian bread.

there are many sites with recipes
if you need any other help email me.

    www.blackteapot.com

great, easy vegetarian and vegan recipes.

That is really wierd about McDonalds - I very much doubt they would take food from a customer inside their kitchen.

A little bit of web searching will give you so many answers you cannot even imagine. Here's a few great websites.

"Nut Loaves", kinda like meat loaf but made with vegetable products:

    Ingredients
Chopped Nuts, Oatmeal, chopped onions, grated carrots, chopped celery, Eggs, vegetable broth, tomato paste, olive oil, garlic,

    Spices:
Thyme, Pepper, basil, oregano... choose or add your favorites.

Mix and place in a greased loaf pan... cook until firm

serve as you would any meat loaf...

with mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts in cheese sauce [don't over cook the brussel sprout... if you don't like them choose another vegetable] and a salad would be good... lettuce, julienned carrots, sliced cucumber or zucchini, chopped tomatoes, olives, feta & a Greek salad dressing.

There are all kinds of recipes there. Some are geared for the vegetarian, and others are aimed at the the vegans. They give a rating as to whether or not the recipe is vegan.

I'm not a vegetarian, but wow! Some of the recipes there really sound good to me. Heck, anything with a portabella mushroom can't be all bad! lol

I'm not sure what your question is. It seems like you are merely insinuating that, because you knew one vegetarian who ate lots of faux meats and fast food, that we all do. Personally, I'd rather have baked squash and tofurkey than spend one red cent at McDonald's. Where exactly did she think they were cooking her faux burger? Right there in the beefy grease is where. There certainly are junk food vegetarians like your old girlfriend, but a lot of us prefer cooking real food.

If you want recipes, all you have to do is go to allrecipes.com or any of a zillion other recipe websites and search for vegetarian recipes. Or pick up a couple of good veg cookbooks. Any of the Moosewood cookbooks are good and "Vegan with a Vengeance" is awesome.

I know some vegetarians who don't like "fake meat" but do eat a lot of baked squash. No tofu turkey tho lol.

Your girlfriend's diet sounds disgustingly unhealthy. I thought most people became vegetarians for health reasons.

I'm a meat eater, but I wouldn't touch most of that stuff, even if it used real meat instead of artificially created "foodstuffs"
