Do you like Okra?!
I know people (even in their late 60s) who don't like Okra.. That to me now seems so childish...
Answers: I used to think I hated it. But, then I grew some on my own, in the garden and found I actually like it. Makes good gumbo, too.

I love okra. Love fried breaded okra the best. But even the slimy okra is good too. Oooh- and pickled okra is yummy too.
I like breaded Okra .
Why does that seem childish? People aren't allowed to dislike foods now? Hmm...didn't get that memo.
I personally only really like okra in gumbos. Recently, I tried to make Paula's okra cake things, and I didn't care for them.
Mmmm, okra = slimy beads.
When it's poorly cooked - like, when I cook it, ha - it has a vile texture and reminds me of mucous.
But when it's cooked properly, and in a flavourful dish - like in biryani - I quite like it.
Childish to dislike it? I think that's a bit judgmental. Everyone has a food or two that they don't like at all.
I love Okra!
I only like it in shrimp and okra gumbo. Otherwise no, it is weird tasting to me. I know a lot of people who eat it smothered or pickled, even fried. I think it is like spinach or beets, you either love it or hate it.
i like okra too whether it's fried or in gumbo

Okra is ok in small amounts in a soup I guess.
Hate okra. Along with courgettes (zucchini) the slugs of the vegetable world. Slimy nowt.
Okra is a very nice vegetable, but you must know how to cook it correctly to ensure good texture. I add lemon to okra to cut the "mucous" feel...also cooking it well will break up the protiens causing the slime. That is why a good okra gumbo must cook for a long while.
nope dont like it here. But not childish eaither... LOL~
Okra is pretty good, my parents make it a lot.
