Are you gonna enjoy this Thanksgiving ? Yes or No ?!

Question: Yes, because the family and reletives are NOT getting together this time.
I'll spend the day like I did from '93-2002: Watching the parade, eating alone, and doing what I usually do. I'm used to being alone, and now prefer it.

At gatherings, I'd try to be a part of the conversation, or start a meaningful one - difficult with 2 loudmouth, egotistical know-it-alls. Now I no longer have to sit there and listen to pompous, yet meaningless ramblings.
Then it gets worse if they want to share their "wisdom" about the importance of meat.

OOOoooooooommmmmm - back to the loving place.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I enjoyed mine last month (I'm Canadian). Hubby and I had cornish hen (my trying to go veg is a relatively new ambition).

Very much so. Dinner was out of the way last week, so all we have to do is sit around and be lazy and maybe order pizza and watch football.

Yes,,, most of us are just getting over a bug. We are keeping it low key.

Enjoying it so far, of course my 500 pound aunt hasn't shown up yet.

We will tomorrow. The husband's ex gets the kids today. We get to celebrate tomorrow.

Yes. I get to cook dinner for my in-laws so stuffed squash is the centerpiece of a vegan TG...yay!!!

YES NO CIRCLE ONE

I'll let you know when the day is through, as i'm not psychic.

I did enjoy mine back in October (Canadian as well). Mom made me some vegetarian stuffing which I love. Can't wait for XMas to have some more. :)

Yes. We couldn't get a Tofurkey b/c they were sold out but I've got a lovely squash & all the traditional meatless sides to go with it.

Yes, I did.

Yes...it's going to take a bit of work for me to make my own tofu turkey but it'll be well worth it. It is Thanksgiving though and I've never been one to just "eat the sides" at holidays. That just doesn't seem fair that I not get to eat something special too...only my turkey is going to be of the tofu based variety. So..yeah I'm going to enjoy it...I am a very family orientened person though..lol.
