Answers:
I'm not too sure about taking red wine a a health drink, but a glass a day is meant to help prevent some cancerous cells your body may grow over time, but once again im not too sure how accurate this is....
Not too sure bout the diabetic thing

RED WINE IS NOT A HEALTH DRINK! BUT IT IS VERY HEALTHY!! ONLY A GLASS A DAY IT IS GOOD 4 YOUR HEART! AND IT HAS FLAVANOIDS (ANTIOXIDANTS) SO DRINK SOME BUT NOT TOO MUCH!! (ONLY RED WINE!!!!)

Red wine contains anti-oxidants. These are known to help prevent cancer. White wine does not contain these substances, so red wine is generally a better choice than white from a health perspective. Years ago, researchers began noticing that people from Italy and other Mediterranean, wine-consuming countries were healthier than people from other regions. The term "Mediterranean Diet" was coined. Red wine is a part of its advantage, but isn't the whole story. People in the region also eat lots of healthy vegetables and seafood. There are also many other sources of healthy anti-oxidants, besides red wine, such as bluberries, pomegranite juice and vitamin C.

red wine is very good for you a glass a day but make sure you are not on any type of medication which the alcohol can have an affect on you and the med.
