What is the best brand of gin?

I am wanting to make mixed drinks for a party, and need a relatively low priced gin. Any suggestions on which kinds are best?

Tanqueray by far. Way better than all the rest. I love gin and tonics with a lime.
By the way, never go cheap on gin. There is a huge difference. The good stuff tastes smooth and slightly sweet and cheap stuff tastes like Pinesol.
Tanqueray or Bombay Sapphire are my personal faves...not over the top pricey, but very smooth!

Bombay Sapphire and Gordon's
tanquernay is much better than bombay saphire. I used to get bombay alot because I loved the bottle but it is harsh in comparison. there is a delightfull gin from new zealand called south gin you may want to try.
Gin is Gin> It doesn't matter what brand you use. The formula is all the same. Some brands have snob appeal, cost more but are no better than any other brand.
Bombay Sapphire
In blind taste tests Gordon's Beefeater gin usually scores at or near the top.....it is quite reasonable too.
I am a martini drinker, for that I prefer Bombay Sapphire
Tanqueray or Bombay are probably the best, in the middle is Beefeater, but if your having a party and need something low priced, then you should go for Seagrams. It's not my first choice, but if I'm buying for other people, then that's what i'd serve.
