Any fruit...peaches, strawberries, melons of all types--all you need is a hypodermic needle and time. Make sure not to use too much for the size of the fruit. Just know that if the fruit has seeds and fibres at the centre of it that you don't eat, these will result in the loss of a lot of your vodka.
If you're talking hollowing out a melon and using it as a punch bowl that you then fill with vodka and fruit, then the bigger the better.

Any type, you can also use rum or tequilla.
You can spike cantaloupe and honeydew melons, too, but you need to let the whole thing sit for a little longer. Watermelon flesh is not as firm and will take the taste a lot quicker than either the cantaloupe or the honeydew.
Experiment with other types of alcohol and liqueurs, too. Rum, gin, and some of the fruit-based liqueurs can be excellent.
watermelon is the best because of the texture of the flesh, it is easier for the liquid to pass through it. Whereas other types of melon have a denser flesh and so make it harder for the liquid to mix through it
OH man i saw this in jamie olivers cook book. Sounds wicked. Tho he does state watermelon. So i would try that first.

Any melon will do.
Honeydew, canteloupe and pineapple are good options as well. Rum works well, too.
You can fill any kind of fruit you like. And you can use different alcohols for different tastes. If you leave them sitting loaded with the alcohol over night, it really has a chance to soak in. Cut them up and add grapes, fruit cocktail, and even jello and you will be a hit! Sparkling apple cider, champane, 7-up and or sprite makes a yummy drink.
Try it wiv any melon! Keep puttin a bit in a couple of times a day for about 3-4 days then serve!
it really does not matter casue i mix vodka with anthing that u would think it would taste good with.
