Why are they called 'cocktails'?!
Answers: Y'know the drinks called cocktails, how'd they get their name? I'm not quite sure what an alcoholic drink has to do with a rooster's tail, if its meant that way.
Nobody knows the answer for sure. One story traces it to a person's name (Latin American Indian); another traces it back to colonial times. There is a drink called c*ck ale [aren't automatic censors wonderful] that, believe it or not, includes a rooster as one as the fermentables. I've never tried it and have no intention of ever doing so.
One early such drink was decorated by a few feathers, which resembled a rooster's tail. I might prefer the feathers to a silly little paper umbrella.
when girls drink it you get to put your **** in their tail.
something to do with a peacock and it's tail.
