Snakebite drink? champagne and beer?!

Question:

Snakebite drink? champagne and beer?

Answers:
the "snakebite" poison (heh heh) is an Australian phenomenon popular in the UK...........(trust me...I worked the busiest antipodean pub in London)..........
consists of half a pint pouring lager (Us. Foster's) & half cider (Us. Crossbow) with about 50ml blackcurrant cordial thrown in.......terrible to de-file honourable grogs like that but 'ey Mate! who's counting????
champagne & beer......hmmmm another collision of pallates!!
I remember dudes & crazy gals ordering a "black & tan"........Guinness topped with champers........see ya in a few days time..........heh heh!

dont taste too good together :-)

In England a snakebite is half a pint of cider and half a pint of lager mixed together.

in the US a snakebite is a shot of Yukon Jack with sweet and sour in it. The mixture you have calls for a major headache.

Creator/contributor's comments:

This is a very potent drink if downed, so take it easy! I have seen a lot of people in very bad states who have dared to down this. Snakebite Black is the same drink as Diesel, and snakebite Jack was dreamed up by me, some friends and a lot of alcohol!
