Did my cider ferment?!


Question: I bought some apple cider about a weak ageo and now whe I drink it, it feals like wine of somthing and it tastes horabull. Could it have fermented?

yes your cider has fermented although with the kind of yeast that has grown on the cider it has spoiled rather than fermented. Alcohol production with beer, wine & cider requires specific kinds of yeast spores rather than just the ones that happen to be floating by.
throw it away!

Well based on your spelling I think you may have added a bit too much Patron to your cider.

yes....it has probably fermented...i find the cider today does not last very long...it can either taste kind of tingley or will have a rather mouldy yucky taste to it....pour it out...is no good for anything when it has gone bad.

Sounds like a bacterial infection. Hard (fermented) cider is pretty tasty.

Dunno,Buddy.I always say,"when in doubt,throw it out".
