A salvia question.?!

Question:

A salvia question.?

I just bought some salvia for the first time and I'm wondering what would be the best way to use it. Can I just chew what I bought, as that would be convenient for me, or do I need to smoke it?

Answers:
Better look in some herbal books before you decide to use it. Salvia is sage and contains Thujone which can be toxic.

Chewing it consumes more of the plant than smoking does, and provides a longer-lasting effect.

Better for your lungs too.

personally, i have never used it.... but my bro did and he smoked it and he said it was cool.... so i'd smoke it, if i were you.

Smoke it in a pipe but since its so fine grain you need a screen over it(the one in the sink works perfect) and the most important thing is you need a jetflame lighter to make sure its gets hot enough, a regular one wont work. Becareful sit down and dont drive

you can chew it up but I hear it taste horrible. if you do...you chew and hold it in your mouth for 15 minutes and then spit it out and lay in a dark and quiet room with your eyes shut and expect to see something (hallucinogens feed off your thoughts, if you are scared you will have a bad trip) it would also help if you use listerine before hand, this will help with absorbtion. I personally would smoke it because the effects are stronger but thats just me, for the redicuously small ammount you smoke it won't hurt any. I run a few miles a day and the half gram I smoked didn't hurt any. There is also a way to extract it and put it onto filter paper and put that tab under your tongue but I won't go into that plus if you bought like 10x or 20x or something its already extracted that ammount of times. Basically, smoking is strong and fast and chewing is smooth and long. Unless you have a lot to chew, smoking would be best for your money and if you do hold it in for 30 seconds and use a water bong or you will burn your throat...if you don't have a bong look up how to make one....all you need is a pop bottle, pen and tin foil.....enjoy!
