What kind of alcoholic drinks have the least sugar?!

Question: I'm on a low sugar diet to control blood sugar. I really want to have some drinks tonight though. I hardly ever go out and I'm looking forward to it. Any ideas? I'v thought gin and tonic but any bartenders or nutritionists out there know of any others? I prefer gin and vodka and rum.

Ack!! Tonic water is FULL of sugar.
Gin and Vodka have almost no sugar, rum a little more. It is the mixers that are dangerous.

Bacardi white rum and diet coke have 0 calories. Check out Bacardi's website.

I used to be on a low carb/low sugar diet and I always drank Captain Morgan Rum and diet coke. Or maybe try vodka with crystal light drink mix or diet sprite.

I think gin is sugar free.

All alcohol is converted into sugar when you digest it, something along the lines of 70 calories per ounce or so. The best drinks would be something that adds no additional sugar like a diet coke or something with rum.

Scotch

Drink it straight.

scotch and soda

Scotch and soda. But it's not so nice to drink.

Everclear has almost no sugar (being 75.5-95% alcohol by volume), nor does vodka.
