Best of the cheap wines?!

Question: If I were to choose a cheap-assed bottle of wine (let's say cabernet) and couldn't spend more than about $7 on it, what shoul I choose?

Two buck chuck?
Gallo Twin Valley?
Barefoot?
Something else?

Try Frontera wines from Chile and Argentina. A 1.5 liter bottle goes for about $10 at my local Kroger. Barefoot is pretty good. I like Yellow Tail wines from Australia, but their reds give me a headache the next day.

Voga; I got it from Meijer's. It's an Italian dry red wine from Sicily. $8

boones farm its 2 dollars a bottle

Cranelake Cab. is nice

My all time favorite - Carlo Rossi's Paisano. It sells for about 8,95 a gallon and beats most bottles of red wine! Give it a try.

Yellow Tail

I usually buy the 1.5 liter bottles for about 10 to 12 bucks, so technically that's less than 7 a bottle. I get Robert Mondavi and Beringer brands like Woodbridge and StoneCellars. They're usually made from the same batches as the higher priced smaller bottles, but they package them differently and less expensively to attract a larger market.

The best os Charles Shaw. It really is 2 buck chuck. You can get it at Trader Joes. They won best wine last year. The Cabernet Sauvignon is my favorite but they have Shiraz and whites as well.
