So... I ate a jar of onions, cocktail onions, the kind you put in Martini's. 300 grams of Sodium per 8 - I ate the whole jar today, within an 8 hour period. The jar is 5 servings. Am I gonna die? Get sick? Get fat? Get tired? Get horny? Get emotional? Any side effects?

Uh, not much. First, I'm sure it was MILIgrams, not grams. Second, that totals to 1,500 mgs of sodium, the DV is 2,400 so you might not even be over the recommended amount for a day, depending on what else you've eaten today. Even so, the average meal at McDonald's or whatever is much higher.
The most I'd say would happen is you'd get thirsty and maybe retain water.
