What makes for a good pint of guinness?!

Question: I'm not being very poetic, but the publican has to know how to handle the beer, flushing the pipes through each time he changes a barrel, the beer has to be allowed to settle a good day or three before being hooked up, and poured out in two or even three stages... each stage needs to be allowed to settle.

That's only for the first few pints of course, after that I don't care how crisp the pint is.

The best pint of Guiness is the one you have with a good friend, and that friend is paying for it.

Good Head.

FREEZING cold, if its not really cold, it tastes funny and you don't get a good head on it

Also, wait for the black and white, because good things come to those who wait :]

the irish water and the 3 minutes..........anticipating...... !

Keg relatively undisturbed while in transit, then left to settlle for several days in pub cellar before use.

Pint poured slowly.

Pub warm - Guiness cold.

Best drunk with someone who also likes Guiness.
