Make opining beer cap sound like champagne pop ?

I was in a Texas bar and when the bar tender opened a beer bottle it made a pop like a champagne bottle would. I asked how he did it but he would'nt tell me. Thanks Tashiro

It may depend on the type of beer that was opened. Some beers are bottled under carbonation and actually have corks for a top...those beers (usually belgium styles) really make a POP when you open them. Other than that, he may have given the bottle a little shake before he opened it. What type of beer was it?

I think you had one too many beers or whatever you were drinking, they TOTALLY sound different.
