How popular do NON-Australians think Fosters Lager is in Australia?!

Question: On a scale from most popular beer through to not drunk by anyone.

Answers: On a scale from most popular beer through to not drunk by anyone.

I doubt it's very popular. It's probably the Australian version of Pabst Blue Ribbon or Milwaukee's Best.

But you really can't knock cheap and effective.

Seeing how its utter swill, I hope not very. I am from the US. I tend to not think Australians are stupid, hope I'm not wrong on this one....

can I say a negative number? I have some colleagues here in california from the northwest side of Australia and they think it ranks right up there with bud here in the states. It is by no means the popular beer. they view it as the americans interpretation of aussie beer. Though none of them drink it themselves.

WHEN I WAS DOWN UNDER I NEVER SAW ANY ONE DRINK IT . HERE IN THE STATES IT IS SOMEWHAT POPULAR . TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH I DON'T REMEMBER WHAT I WAS DRINKING WHILE IN KINGS CROSS , BUT IT WAS ALE AND GOOD . IT WAS THE BRAND OF THE LOCALS I WAS DRINKING WITHS FAVORITE .

I dunno....Do they drink "Panther-Piss" there..???

I was in Australia two years ago. I never drank a Foster's or was offered one by my Australian friends. I would put in on par with National Bohemian (Nattie Bo to poor high school students in my day) in the States.

The way they advertise it here in America is stupid, but then again I am an American and we do have some crappy tasting beers over here. Manily anything that starts with BUD
