Please recommend a sophisticated blueberry liquer...nothing like the "Pucker" style.?!

Question: My mother went to Finland 10years ago and bought a blueberry liquer. We just discovered it on Thanksgiving day, in her liquor cabinate unopened. It is wonderful. We created a martini using Stoli Lemon and this liquer and I am looking for something we can purchase in the States that we might be able to substitute for it.

There are several on line sites that will ship Lapponia Blueberry Liqueur to the US. If you want to find something local, try Smirnoff's blueberry vodka. You might have to experiment with adding simple syrup for sweetness.

Was this it, by any chance...

Your martini sounds wonderful by the way - I love new and unusual drink ideas...blueberry would be marvelous for the holidays! Thanks!

I think esmeralda is correct on this one, but I'll leave my favorite anyway. (Don't worry, I can't stand pucker either.)

Just in case you want to change things up a bit. ;-)
