A lot depends on the tap water and the bottled water. I've seen bottled water that would not pass WHO standards and tap water that would give you some nasty gastrointestinal diseases. I've also heard of restaurants refilling water bottles from the tap.

In the U.S., is generally best to stick with tap water. If the chlorine is too much for you, keep the water in the refrigerator for a day or two.

Although water is good for us all together, tap water is better because it contains minerals that we need. Sometimes filtered water contains cleaning chemicals.

Answering all your questions.

When they take water from the tap and put it into bottles for you to pay $1.50 for, there is a real Rabi that blesses every single bottle. This removes all of the arsenic that George Bush puts into the water system. Oh the Rabbi also makes all of the bottles biodegradable, in fact they are Good for the sea turtles. Keep watching MTV. and God help us all.

Tap water's only problem in most cities is the taste. There is not much incentive for public utilities to charge you more for taste. In fact, most "water people" will tell you how hard it is just to charge for water because people think that they are entitled to free running water.

Using a filter does not take out that many minerals as tap water does not really have that many to begin with. Most bottled waters are really bottled tap water with improved taste. There is really no difference.

Most bottled waters ARE tap water. You are paying the extra money for bottling, transportation and marketing costs. Unless it's mineral water from a spring, bottled water is a complete ripoff.

Distilled water is water that has been distilled to remove any impurities.

All natural water sources have minerals and other stuff (like some harmless microorganisms) in it. Usually all tap waters are healthy, though not all of them taste good.

Most 'bottled' water comes out of somebody's water-tap
in "Philadelphia" - and these morons PAY FOR IT !!!!!!!
