HELP! I can't open this bottle of beer!?!

Answers: Ladies and Gentlemen, I am not a huge beer drinker, but I have nothing left in the fridge besides a couple cold-ones, and I am UNBELIEVABLY thirsty. It's a microbrew with a non twist-off top. Here's the dilemma, I don't have a bottle opener! What can I do? I need honest (i.e. not 'smack the top 'til the glass breaks) suggestions of what I can do to open the bottle of beer without spilling it. I will pick the best answer based on the first one that successfully gets this bad boy open. I'm in a college dorm at the moment, so things I might have in the room...
please help!

take the beer bottle over to your drawer in the kitchen or where ever..and pop it open with the drawer handle...use a nail that is already in the wall..put the edge of the lid right on the nail and pop it off..we used to open coke bottles that way as a kid

Toilet
1. Place cap in between valve and pipe
2. Press down
3. Drink
Computer
1. Place cap in hard drive slot
2. Pry off carefully
3. Drink
4. Play some more computer games
note: this will probably
scratch your computer, but it will open your beer
Belt Buckle
1. Undo buckle (don't let pants fall)
2. Adjust buckle accordingly
3. Pry off
4. Drink
5. Don't forget to buckle up
*Belt buckles work if they are the right shape

2. Place cap inside mouth
3. Bite off (be careful*)

angle the edge of the cap against the counter top and smack it sharply while pulling down on the bottle
do you have a bic lighter, pry it off with that. Try a bottle opener. Screw 2 holes in the cap, and pour it out
use a lighter put the bottle in your hand and use you hand as the pivot point for the lighter putting the lighter under the bottle cap and pry it off!!
you can do many things. but the easiest to tell you would be search, 'how to open a bottle of beer with a dollar bill"
or you can use the other bottle to help open it. or a lighter. or find a 90 degree angle, (on like a table or something) line up the cap and hit the top of the bottle. that is usually what i do. i know its hard to explain these things but the net provides many vids on how to do it.

hook the lid on the counter and smack it... its like a bottle opener but... not.. LMAO!! it works...

1. use a cigarette lighter to pry it open
2. pierce the lid with something sharp and flick it off
3. put the edge of lid on the corner of a desk or table and smack it hard it should pop off

put the edge of the cap over the edge of a counter or bookshelf or whatevers there and use use palm to smack down on top of the cap and it'll pop right off. Thats how the kool kids do it ;)
I don't know if you want to try it or not, but it worked in my thirsty college days...I used my teeth. Be careful though especially if you have expensive dental work.
well, i know people who can use a cigarette lighter to leaver off the top. i can't do this. i have also seen people put the edge of the top on the edge of the counter and hit the top of the beer and the lid pops off, i can do this. or you could go next door and see if someone else has a bottle opener.
Place lip of the cap on the edge of a straight edged countertop or desk and hit the cap with your fist as you pull down on the bottle...it should pop right off.

Water from the tap in your bathroom will quench your thirst better than beer. Sorry. Go to your bathroom and turn on the water.....stick your head under the faucet if you have no glass, and DRINK. Or, if you want or need to be more sanitary, wash your hands first, then drink the water from your hand.
Use the long side of a car or dorm key to pry up from underneath the cap. Work your way all around the cap until the entire lip is bent up and the lid pops.
do you have tools of any kind? You could try prying up the lip of the cap with some pliers or even a screwdriver. Or position the bottle next to table or something with a strong stiff edge, place the lip of the cap right on the edge and pop the top of it with your hand, swift and hard. Make sure only the cap in resting on the table edge. Or you could knock on some doors and borrow an opener from a neighboring dorm student. Who knows maybe you will find someone to share that other beer with you.
Had the same problem a couple of years ago. Get a 3-hole punch and squeeze it as if you were punching holes in something. Place the cap inside the punch opening and pry the lid off of the bottle and enjoy! This actually almost works better than a bottle opener.
ever heard of a tap
if you have a ring on your finger use it. Just keep the ring on your finger, point your finger tips towards the ground and the bottom of the bottle to the ground (while holding the beer in the other hand) put the edge of the lid over the top of your ring and pull up with your hand with the ring on it
use a lighter or the edge of the counter.or a butter knife.
used a lighter like a bottle opener.hold the neck of the bottle and place the lighter under the cap make sure your lighter is on your index knuckle and the teeth on the cap as a grip on the lighter when very thing is on pop it up.this works too with the knife.the counter put the cap teeth on the edge of the counter and hit the top of the beer bottle straight down.
