I'm in ohio and grain alcohols are sold everywhere. There are different kinds - most alcohol is distilled from some type of grain or wheat. most of the time it refers to clear alcoholic beverages containing natural ethanol. While moonshine is one of these and is illegal throughout the state (not because of the grain part - but because of producing it without a license) - Everclear is readilly available and legal. It also depends on the proof of alcohol you are looking for.
