there is no such thing as a short cut when it comes to sobering up. it takes approx one hour per drink to make its way out of your system but its not a concrete formula. Coffee and stuff like that will only make you a wide-awake-drunk. Water is good to help with the dehydration that occurs and and food like white bread will help absorb whats in the stomach, but if the alcohol has made its way into the bloodstream, then there's nothing you can do. FYI: you can still get a "hangover DUI" I was talking with a cop friend today about that. Even though its been hours since your last drink, if you have that much in your stomach you can still blow an 0.08 on a breathalizer and get a DUI!!!

there isnt any fast way to sober up. it takes about an hour and a half to get rid of one drink. so depending on how many you have had, multiply that by 1.5 hours and youll know when your sober.

#1 answer- stop drinking

You can't "make" yourself sober up.

My only recommendation is to just keep peeing and to stick your finger in your throat to make yourself vomit.

You'll feel better, trust me.

Get approximately 1 hr. of sleep, eat a large meal, and drink at least 3 glasses of water. The water will naturally rehydrate you and flush you out.

black coffee

The only way to sober up is to sleep it off, but drink lots of water before you nod off!

drinking water will definately rehydrate you, and may prevent a nasty hangover, but there is nothing you can do to sober you up once your body absorbs the alcohol except to wait. things like caffeine may make your more alert, but they have no bearing on your level of drunkeness.
