There aren't many Mexican rum drinks because rum is produced hundreds of miles away from Mexico. The most popular Mexican drinks use tequila, the most amazing spirit in the world [heavenly music].

Here are a couple of general rum drinks, though:

"Girly" blended drinks (no offense intended, that's just what they're called) with rum can be:

Pina Colada
1.5 oz. cheapo rum
2 oz. pineapple juice
1.5 oz. Coco Lopez sweetened coconut puree (at many grocery stores)

Blend with ice to yield 16 oz.

[fruit] Daiquiri
1.5 oz. cheapo rum
2 oz. [fruit] (strawberry, mango, cherry, blueberry, or whatever you want)
1 oz. sour mix (store-bought would probably work for this application)

Blend with ice to yield 16 oz.

"Manly" rum drinks (no offense intended, that's just what they're called) with rum can be:

Cuba Libre:
1.5 oz. premium rum
Cola of choice
.5 oz. fresh lime juice

Garnish with lime and feel manly.

Mojito:
12-16 fresh mint leaves
Whole fresh lime, wedged
1/2 tsp sugar (or 4 oz. simple syrup)
1.5 oz. premium silver rum
2 oz. club soda

Muddle mint, lime and sugar/syrup in the bottom of a 16 oz. glass. Add ice and rum, find some way to cover the glass and shake your buns off. Top with club soda. Consume in a manly manner.

Hope this helps!
