Jello Shot Variation for Party?!

Question: I'm having a party Saturday night and I bought Vodka (strawberry & lime flavored) and Strawberry & Lime Jello. I was wondering if there's anyway to make it a little more 'interesting'? I was thinking maybe getting strawberries and lime slices and soaking them in the vodka over night and then putting one in each 'jello shot'?? Help!

Put the fruit slices on the bottom of the jello cup.

Soak the fruit first in the alcohol, then use the fruit soaked alcohol to make the jello shots. It will have fruit and alcohol flavor running all through them.

that's a good idea, but keep in mind a shot is to be swallowed not chewed so you want something that can be sucked down without choking people. Consider doing mixed shots, put strawberry in half the cup, let it sit up, then finish with lime, also you might want to do a light coat of a cooking spray to make sure the shots come out smoothly, but not enough you can taste it.
for fun you can put a cherry in the middle of the shot, then it can be pulled from the cup with the stem and fed to someone.

You might not want to do that, because it'll make them harder to take, but it would look really cute. Maybe that would work but make the pieces of strawberry pieces REALLY small, and don't leave the peel on the lime.

I've put Swedish fish in the blueberry jello shots before. I would suggest putting some sort of chewy candy in each one. I think a lime slice would turn off a lot of people.

Maybe go for strawberry and lime martini's you can use your fruits and not worry about people choking. You could even allow some of the jello to set up in the bottom of your martini glasses before you mix ur tini's in them.^.^ A sweet bonus at the bottom ;)
