I hope champagne!

I hope that everyone tells silly stories, toasts my life and gets super silly!

at most funeral homes - no food or drink is allowed in the viewing room
The food/drinks takes place at the wake after the service

I could care less what son decides to serve/do ... I'll be dead and unable to enjoy any of it

I want nothing but the good stuff, strictly top shelf. It should be a celebration that I died. Crystal, Moet and Dom

coffee i am a recovering alcoholic

Depends on the family really...many people don't drink at the funeral or visitation, but rather they go out after the festivities are complete.

So I'm planning what I want people to drink for my post-funeral bash?!

That's tough...there could be a whole new kind of drink that hasn't been invented yet...and I don't want to try and tell people what to drink. If someone doesn't drink beer, I don't want to say beer as a blanket answer.

Let's just say I'd have an open bar...

I reallly don't care. I'm not going to be there to enjoy it. Unless... I just might come back & haunt the hypocrits w/the crocodile tears & then I'll just pour whatever they are drinking on them. hehehe I'm so bad.

who cares. I'll be gone.

I want people to go into my wine cellar and have an orgy with it's remains.

Well i already have it planed to have at least 6 kegs of Bud Light at my funeral so yeah i told my best friend that and i made him sign a sheet that i put in my safe guaranteeing it.

Champagne, red wine, and beer...and lots of it!!

Jack Daniels....what else????

Nothing but the ridiculous stuff. A few bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue, Gold and Green. Some Jack single barrel. A few bottles of expensive Port. Etc... Add a few fine tobacco products of your choice, and some terrific food. I can't take it with me, but they should definitely have the last of it on me. When I do go, everyone should know "This 'Rounds' on me."
You should come!!

40oz. of Old English.
40oz. of Miller Light for the light weights.

If my friends and family know me well enough, they'll be drinkin' before during, and after!
I'd tell them to drink whatever they wanted, but to make sure to "have one for me."
We did pretty much this very thing for a friend who passed this summer. Had a group dinner/party to drink, play cards, and tell stories the night before visitation, had coolers full of beer in the trunk at the funeral home and took frequent trips outside "to have a drink with" him, had more beer at the gravesite, and stopped off at a few bars after the internment.
Sent him off with a hoopla!

i just want everyone to smoke the room out with some really good bud, maybe ill catch a contact in the coffin lol

I never reallly thought abt such a bazzar thing as to what a person would be drinking at MY funeral. Who cares? Let them worry abt it.
