Good vodka mixers and what is a good vodka?!

Question: i need to know for my party

Answers: i need to know for my party

Thing is about mixing, you dont need to waste money on a high end vodka. You also dont have to go super-cheap or anything, but no need to spend the big bucks on Grey Goose, Chopin or Belvedere. Absolut or Smirnoff will do just fine.

As far as mixers:
OJ for a screwdriver
Cranberry for a Vodka Cran
Milk and Kaluha or Baileys for a White Russian.
Grapefruit works well too...

You can also get creative and make different types of martinis. Cosmos are very popular and easy to make.
Get yourself a metal mixer and go at it!

grey goose, go with tonic, cranberry juice, orange juice, on and on

im getting fond of white russians, but theres this one called espresso by vincent van gogh vodka tastes just like coffee no need to mix but if ya did try a little khalua or baileys irish cream really tasty...

Best Vodka - absolutely it is GREY GOOSE

anything tangy.. OJ, Cranberry juice, etc

Grey Goose is popular but Absolut, Chopin, Stoli, Armadale and Jewel of Russia are all better.

Grey Goose is good and gets all the hype but Kettle One is right up there....and less $$$

tanqueray sterling is an awesome vodka, very smooth. look for a lemon drop or cosmopolitan mixer, it always seems to be very popular with the ladies.

any fruit juice is good for a vodka mixer (for simple mixes)...the most popular are orange juice and also cranberry juice. For interesting mixes, look up Martini mix recipes and Mojito's. My favorites are regular vodka martinis or vodka tonics. Vodka tonic is very nice and easy to make, just a little lime, some tonic, some ice and vodka...and usually no hangover.

'Good' vodka is somewhat a matter of personal taste...I really like the polish style vodkas...but can drink just about any of them except for Stolichnaya and Smirnoff...just don't care for the aftertaste. There are also flavored ones that you can get...mandarin orange or citrus flavor are the more popular, but you can get pepper, apple, vanilla, raspberry...etc.

In Order that I like them for flavor and price

Grey Goose Mandarin (I can drink it straight) more expensive
Absolut (Raspberri, Citron, Mandrin, regular...all good) medium price
Gvori (a regular polish vodka, not expensive, but still good flavor)
Original Polish Vodka (cool bottle, decent taste, medium price)

There are some other ones out there...I'd suggest going with the fruit juice mixes if your guests are not used to drinking and don't like 'alcohol taste'...then just get a decent cheap vodka...czarina or gordons vodka is ok for that...a lot of bars get it for their 'well drinks'. Stay away from popov, smirnoff, stoli, wolf, royal gate, relska...etc...unless you want a hangover. If your guests know a good vodka and want to taste it...I'd suggest the Gvori for price...or go with the Absolut. If you have extra money to blow, then go with the Grey Goose.

GREY GOOSE, OR ANYTHING THAT'S 100% PROOF.

YOU CAN MIX ALMOST ANY FRUIT JUICE AND ICE.

GREY GOOSE!

Smirnoff vodka is cheaper though, also has more
mc cormicks isn't half bad either

all tastes great with monster energy drink as a chaser.
ENERGETIC AND DRUNK

also try mixing vodka and ice with pineapple juice:p

3 parts Absolut with 1 part Sprite, 2 parts apple schnapps
