"Fris" brand vodka???!

Question:

"Fris" brand vodka???

had the most amazing pomegranate martini at bonefish grill.....found the recipe online. it calls for 'Fris' brand vodka. i've never heard of it. i'm assuming it's just a higher-end vodka, and that i could substitute grey goose, or any other good vodka in it's place. anyone heard of it or have any info on it?

Answers:
Yeah, Fris (freeze) vodka is pretty good - not too bad price-wise..it is easy to find where I live and I think it's less expensive than grey goose.
But any drink recipe that calls for it can definitely be replaced with grey goose, which is a great vodka!

Fris is yet another brand of vodka that's trying to gain popularity. It's fine. Yes, you could use Grey Goose or Ketel One, Chopin, etc. . as a replacement vodka. The bonefish grill probaby uses Fris because the liquor rep did a good sales pitch on it.

A REALLY smoothe higher end vodka that you might think about trying is actually made by Absolut, called Level. It is excellent in martinis of all kinds.

FYI- I created a really tasty Pamagranate martini if you are interested in it. Just shoot me an email and i'll give it to ya!
Cheers!
