Women r known for fruity drinks at a bar/pub is that true?!

Question:

Women r known for fruity drinks at a bar/pub is that true?

Answers:
It is a stereotype, and like all stereotypes, has a grain of truth in it.

You could turn that around and say that men are less likely to drink fruity drinks because there is a stigma against it. It's probably more socially acceptable for women to drink fruity drinks. Lame but true. You don't see too many men ordering Apple-tinis or Strawberry Daquiris, but I do see them ordering drinks with cranberry & oj.

It's a matter of personal taste, really.

YEAH,
I THINK THE REASON IS BECAUSE MOST WOMEN DONT WANT TO GET DRUNK WHEN THEY GO OUT, FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY SO THEY ORDER WEAKER (FRUITY) DRINKS.

BUT NOT ME
GIMME A SHOT OF PATRON ANY DAY OVER A MARGARITA ?

I guess...not me though. I like (good) beer. Mmmmm beer...

NOPE!!!!!

nope, I like my vodka neat and my pints full.. fruity drinks make me sick

I tend to go for Bacardi and coke. Not always true.

I'm a woman and i prefer beer.

i think so...i love fruity drinks..but also strong drinks to..

Yeah I would say thats pretty true. I do agree though that it is more socially acceptable for women to drink fruity drinks. I usually have beer when I'm out at a bar but if I'm out at a restaurant I'm more likely to have a margarita or fruity drink.

ya its true... alot of women prefer the fruity drinks where you cant really taste the liquor...men wont usually get them bc they are "girly".

i myself like either a fruity drink or a white zin...i dont like anything too strong.

No..just depends on the person.

Yes,I like fruity drinks, but there's not much I don't like except whiskey and beer.

I drink wine most of the time (like 90%), second beer or margaritas (i don't consider this fruity, girly maybe). Also depends on where I am at who I am with.
