Good cheap wines?!

Question:

Good cheap wines?

Can anyone recommend some good cheap wines? Unfortunately, we don't have a Trader Joes near us, so we can't get 3 Buck Chuck. And I do like Yellow Tail, but I was hoping someone has other suggestions. Unfortunately, we're pretty limited to where we can get wine, so if the wine's available at Wal-Mart, even better. :)

Sutter Home isn't half bad, and you might try Turning Leaf, Rodney Strong, or Mondavi

at walmart....any wine form Chile...(black cat- gato negro) wine is nice and cheap

Arbor Mist....and yes they have it at Walmart!

I like Lindemann's. Usually no more than $8 or so.

little penguin is pretty decent, similar to yellow tail

Just look around. If you have a good wine shop in your area pop in. Even the nice wine shops have cheap stuff that tastes good. If not check out Beringer.

You don't say if you prefer white or red, so I will suggest both.
In England Asda (Wallmart) stocks their own brand Claret.
This is a very acceptable red wine and is as cheap as this type of wine comes. e.g. £2.70.
For the same price you can buy a really good white wine fromChile. Namely Sauvignon Blanc.

I love Arbor Mists Strawberry zinfendel, it is soo good, and goes with (almost) everything I cook!

TRY MERLOT BY "GALLO"

First, determine what grapes you like, pinot, shiraz, cab ect.

There are several really good Australian wines beyond Yellow Tail (and inexpensive as well). The Trader Joe wines are great if you live near by. There are value lines by most producers, try as many as you can.

I have found that the Spanish tempranillo and garancha, grapes are nice, and inexpensive. BTW the garancha is the cousin to the French Granache grape used in Chateauneuf Du Pape. Also try the South American Malbec grape.

try mad dog it's cheap and it messes u up good.
