How do you make the perfect margarita?!

Question:

How do you make the perfect margarita?

Hey - cinco de mayo is coming.. =)

Answers:
buy the Bacardi can frozen mix and use quality tequila or rum. It is simple to follow the instructions and makes a fabulous frozen.

are you mexican?

Go to the Mexican Restaurant, and order a Grande!

Cuervo mix is good, but not their tequila. Use GOOD tequila; I like Cesar Monterrey (there are even more expensive options but this is a reasonably priced favorite that is even good on the rocks). It's in a blue frosted bottle. Oh, and please don't use table salt, get kosher or sea salt for the rim.

I prefer it on the rocks, but have a quality blender and store bought ice (less freezer burn taste) if you want them "frozen."

My perfect margarita recipe.

Put ice in a cocktail shaker
Add:
4 oz of a quality repisado Tequila of your choice
3 oz Triple Sec
3 oz Rose's sweetened lime juice

Shake well.

Use a slice of lime to wet the rim of an appropriate glass.
Run the wet rim of the glass through some salt
Garnish with the lime slice.
Fill with ice.

Pour and enjoy.

double shot tequila ,double shot triple sec, tree ripe sweet & sour works best mix with ice in shaker glass top with a squeeze of fresh lemon. adjust balance for sweetness, some peoplelike more liquor some more triple sec .

shake with ice two parts tequila, one part lime juice. pour into a heavy cocktail glass, float with grand marnier or cointreau. toss in a wedge of lime. if you want salt, definitely use crystals, and not morton's table salt. For a little flashyness add about a quater shot of blue curacao before mixing for a blue margarita

Start with a quality gold tequila; buy a fifth or liter. Buy a bottle of Triple Sec, it's an orange liqueur needed for the drink. Lastly, and most importantly, buy a BIG bottle of Rose's lime juice (it's already sweetened). Take it all home. In a gallon milk jug (pre-rinsed and dried), pour in all of the tequila. Mark that level on the jug. Next, pour in about a third of that level of Triple Sec. Then pour in at least the same amount of Rose's lime juice; you will probably want more, so go ahead, but no more than twice the amount of the Triple Sec. Cap the jug and gently tip 180-degrees, back and forth. Put it the refrigerator for AT LEAST 24 hours so the flavors can marry and the whole thing will mellow out. You've got margaritas! Just gently reshake and pour over rocks.
