I am 16 and my dad has been giving me a lot of alcohol, is this normal?!
Answers: i got drunk a few days ago and had to skip school because i was so sick. is this normal for my dad to be giving me so much alcohol? i like it and used to drink it behind his back, but not this much!
Hey, the way it sounds You need to say no to your dad! You have the right to say No! You had better start saying no before you end up being a Alcoholic! I always liked the taste of any kind of alcohol, but because I did like it so much, I felt it best not to drink it. I had to say No to it! You can too!
no~
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
No! Don't take anymore. You are not old enough, and your dad shouldn't even be giving it to you.Parents don't let their kids get drunk. Its not normal at all!
you don't have to drink everything he gives you. be strong and resist! i know its nice to have fun, but showing that you have self control will make you feel good about yourself. he could be testing you. you never know. maybe you should talk to him about it. see what he has to say. if you're missing school that could potentially be a problem. communication is key. good luck!
Tell him you don't want any more, maybe that is what he wants to hear from you.
No. That sounds like child abuse.
Of course it's not!!! He could probably get in trouble with the law for that!! Just refuse...........it will lead to trouble eventually.
you gots to be kidding!! !@$# NO! it not alright.. where is your mom? One day ( if it has not happen already) your father is going to get into alot of trouble.. Your father is going about it the wrong way trying to teach you a lesson about under age drinking.
Anything that isn't done in moderation is bad for u.
2 much alcohol can damage ur liver, pancreas and kidneys.
Even in adults it is bad, but @ 16 u r still growing.
i started drinkin when i was like 12 years im 18 now so then u will know when 2 stop drinking
Seriously? No, it's not right.
well as you're 16 I'm sure you know that legally you aren't supposed to drink until youre 21...and your Dad should DEFINATELY know that's not ok, and someone could get him in trouble for contributing to a minor...stop drinking now...don't become an alcoholic...
no, parents arent suppose to let their children get drunk. you can get really sick. he may be an alcoholic and that's why hes having you do it, or maybe he could of caught you doing it behind his back and hes getting you back for it maybe. hope you make the right decision!
Your dad shouldn't be gicing you alcohol, your underage and your dad will face charges if caught.
Have some self control and refuse the alcohol from your dad
no, tell your dad you dont want it! what kind of a dad do you have, giving you that?! Either you are drunk, or so is your dad...
he might just be doing it to try to get you to realize on your own how dumb teen drinking is, in hopes that it will make you responsible. if you notice he's never really been a very responsible parent, then it probably isn't a strategically planned lesson. lol
Are you serious?
I would feel weird if all of a sudden my parent started to give me alcoholic drinks.... I would rather drink behind their backs if I really had to. But that's not normal... Kinda weird... He must be very open. My mom found out I was drinking... From my ex and she got mad at him more than she got mad at me.... But still.. Not normal... Must seem really cool to you though.
sounds like he just needs a drinking buddy. im guessing he's divorced, pissed at his life, and wants to drag you down with him. the choice is yours. if you want more out of life then where your dads at then you might want to think about all that. if your content with where your at then drink to the sun comes up. partying is fun, but ive found it doesnt lead you to true happiness, and thats what were all looking for, right?
And whay are you drinking it if you dont like it? Just say no! He has no right to force the alcohol on you,Thats abuse!
Just tell him you dont like it.
Keep drinkin' and you will be the coolest kid in high school when you can handle your liquor better.
Just kiddin', he is obviously trying reverse psychology and figures letting you drink will take the cool factor away. Then hopefully you will stop drinking on your own.
Joeseph, thank you for sharing your experience with us. I have forwarded your statement on to the authorities for investigation and you will be contacted shortly.
