If you add 7up, sprite, or sierra mist to wine it will give you a "wine spritzer" and it is very good!

Besides making a wine spritzer, with white soda or club soda, you can make red or white sangria( add brandy, simple syrup and fruit to wine).

Holiday wine drink:

Cousin Spike's Wassail

2 liters Burgundy wine
1 liter water
1 bottle of honey
3 sliced lemons
3 sliced oranges
2 sliced limes
5 sticks cinnamon
a sprinkling of gloves
Directions:
Simmer gently, never boil this. the smell of the holidays will be all over the house and the spirit of the holiday will warm your guests.

Take equal parts any type dry wine with any lemon lime sod a-- drop in 1 shot 151 proof rum, stand back!

Anything? No, I draw the line at Sterno, lighter fluid, kerosene ....
