whats the best spirit? and why?

Gelinotte is the best because it's made with maple syrup and taste just like it but more strong.
It is all al matter of opinion, but I definatly prefer a good vodka. Quality vodka (Ketel One, Zyr, Jewel of Russia) is as close to pure as any spirit can be, if you drink it on the rocks or straight it is the least likely to give you a hangover, though it still will if you over do it.
