beer, me man me no care about calories, lol.

2 glasses of red wine. wines are rich in flavanoids. this drink are not fattening.

alcohol alone has TONS of calories.

girly sweet drinks do have a lot of calories and the sugar in them contributes to worse hangovers too. a typical margarita has like 600 calories. And don't even ask about a pina colada or strawberry daiquiri.
Rum and diet coke tastes better than vodka and diet coke. you could try that. but aspartame isn't much better for you than sugar either.
I would go for a vodka and club soda with a peice of lemon or lime. If its too strong for you, you could try flavored vodka like raspberry stoli and club soda. Hangovers are not even bad with this drink either :) low calorie too.
As far as beer goes i think Miller light is a good choice if you still want some taste in your beer. If you don't care about taste try michelob ultra, bud select, amstel light, or whatever other low carb beer they have out there.

oh, an approximation of calories...i think a miller light has about 95 calories. A vodka and club soda probably has like 60 or 70.

A wine spritzer is probably the safest way to go as one standard cocktail has about 70 calories. Although really one ounce of 80 proof vodka has about 64 calories in it so maybe the vodka diet coke thing is the way to go. I am sure that you already know that alchol is just a bunch of empty calories, but everything can be part of a well rounded diet if it is eaten or drank in moderation. I watch what I eat and drink, but I like to enjoy a vodka tonic or a glass of wine every now and then.

You may want to consider a drink made with cranberry juice as cranberry juice is full of antioxidants and other stuff that is good for you. Eventhough the alcohol might counteract the effect of the antioxidants. It's slightly sweet, but not as bad as getting a strawberry daiquiri. 8 oz of cranberry juice has 125 calories and an 8 oz daiquiri has 450 (8 oz is about 2/3 the size of what they serve you)!
Hope this helps. Good luck!

diet coke (or sprite if you can get it) with rum are good. club soda has no calories, tonic water has a few, but not a ton. a gin and tonic? stick to light beer (there are lots out there, you might like one) or hard liquor with low cal mixers. you can get club soda with a liquor of your choice and a splash of juice. a tiny bit of orange or pineapple or cranberry isn't so bad. lemon and lime have negligible calories.

As far as mixed drinks go, martinis are much lower in calorie, 150 - 200 calories. They are mostly vodka with just a little flavoring. I really prefer the sweet drinks, but I've started switching to martinis because of the calorie content. If you like wine, it only has about 100 calories. If you're really just looking to get a buzz with the least amount of calories, I say go with shots.

diet and vodka is at least a sure thing you can order at any bar but you might like the flavored vodka better try it with rasberry. ( I got that by accident once and really liked it)

Dont be afraid to ask if they have other diet sodas to mix with instead of sprite or like sodas

A Vodka gimlet is nice and light and if you ask for it with real lime it wont have the added sugar

A mojito made with sweetner is good rum and soda water with crushed mint.

A martini or long island are goodchoices as well since they are mostly booze and have the most bang for the buck

To make drinks last longer, try a "spritzer." Mix wine with sparkling water, club soda, or diet soda.

Calorie content of common servings of alcohol drinks

one shot (1 1/2 ounces ) 90 proof = 110 calories
100 proof = 124 calories
12 ounce beer (one typical bottle) 146 Calories
3 1/2 ounces of table wine = 72 Calories
Sweet wines 3 1/2 ounces 158 Calories

try a 3olives cherry vodka and diet spirte...it's favorite and very tasty too

liquor...whisky or vodka and diet pops

gin an tonic w/ a lime, use diet tonic water, gin has the lowest amount of caleries

Vodka and seltzer w/ a wedge of lime, diet coke and rum since you like sweet. Tonic has about 100 calories per serving. 1 shot is approximately 100 calories. Stay away from the sweet liqueurs

Lots of people have the right idea with using diet coke or soda with the mix to reduce calories. I'd personally go with soda and fresh lime/lemon wedges. I just think it's more healthy than diet sodas.

I'm not sure who is making the margaritas that are 600 calories but if you are, you're not doing it right. A really strong Margarita - 2 oz tequila (128 calories) , 1 oz Triple sec (103 calories), 2-3 oz fresh lime juice (16-24 calories), ice (0 calories). That's 3 oz of booze and only 255 calories .

So you can have some "girly drinks" if you are making them yourself but if you are in a pub/bar or using mixes you are going to get a ton of sugar and that is going to sink you.

There is another thing to consider, my wife sometimes likes the occasional blender drink and I know that she finds it very difficult to drink a lot of them because they are so filling. So if you took something like a banana daiquiri, again made with real bananas, and instead of sugar syrup used splenda or sweet and low syrup you could really cut the calories and in all likelihood you would only be able to drink a couple before feeling very full. The key would be to make it yourself and use fresh fruit and limit the sugar.
