What is a good beer for people that say they do not like beer? That is from the U.S.A?!

Question: I'm not going to lie, some of these answers are just numb. Somebody who doesn't care for beer isn't going to be turned on by another beer of the same style that is marginally worse/better (Coors, Michelob, Rolling Rock...).

Like somebody else mentioned it all really depends on taste, and more so what state you live in.

Are they a fan of sipping on bourbon, scotch, and the like? Then check out beers like Russian Imperial Stouts, and Old Ales. Some examples are Alesmith Speedway Stout, and Northcoast Old Stock Ale.

Do they appreciate bitter foods and citrus? Then India Pale Ales, American Pale Ales, and Barley Wines may be more of their things. Some examples are Alpha King Pale Ale, Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA, or Avery Hog Heaven.

Are they in to rich flavors like chocolate and coffee? Then again Stouts, Brown Ales, Porters, and Black Lager/Schwarzbiers would probably be their thing.

Do they like sour foods, fruit, or sweet drinks? Then various Lambics and Geuze would be their things. Lindeman's Framboise is generally pretty acceptable as an intro to sour beers. It's like the kool-aid of beers.

Don't count out lagers yet though. American "macro" lagers are such a poor example of what beer actually tastes like that it should be a crime to call it beer. Look for some real, quality lager like Victory Prima Pils, or Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold.

There's just TOO much beer out there to not like beer. Beer is such a diverse beverage yet it always gets clustered as just low quality lager. Not all wine is Franzia and not all beer is Bud Light. Good luck in your search, just convince your friend to be open minded and you'll surely find something.

not a fan of beer i think smirnoff is really good

Climb the rock !! Rolling Rock

If its a girl try pete's wicked ale, they have a strawberry blond and a apricot ale thats great.

It depends on your individual tastes. (Like, what aspects of beer don't you like.)

I used to feel that way too. I always thought Michelob Ultra was pretty good, though. So my answer would be Michelob Ultra. It doesn't have that doughy taste, and it's not very bitter either. No strong flavors.

Yuenling - anything they make is good!

Try a wheat beer. It'll be a bit sweeter, better flavor, smoother, and goes down nicely. I've recommended wheat beers to friends who don't like beer and they've typically been surprised.

Try Harp or Stella Artois.

Samuel Adams

Hoegaarden, it is a wheat beer with hints of citrus. Have it with a twist orange to bring out the coriander. Schmirnoff is not beer it is a malt beverage.

Edit:

You may also like éphémère (Apple) from Unibroue, it is a wonderful apple wheat beer. So tasty. Or try any of Lindeman's Lambic beers, Kriek (Cherry), Pomme (apple) or Framboise (raspberry).. all are great.

The best beer for people that don't like beer....is the one with the least flavor.....Coors Light....or Michelob Ultra

It seems like people who only drink occasionally like Coors Lite
