What are a few good inexpensive red wines for everyday drinking?!

Question: I'm not a wine drinker but I do like red wine. Is there any inexpensive great tasting red wines you can suggest that I can by at local stores?

Thanks.

If you don't have a great amount of experience with wine, you may like a good merlot--many brands, or a grenache rose.
Anything else will be stronger and less sweet, including cabernet, shiraz, Hungarian Egeri Bikaver, burgundy or
a good drinking bardolino.

yellowtail shiraz

Lambrusco, sweet but good

ask a wino..on skid row/....

sweet wines - Sangrias, Marsallas, Chianti
Dryer Wines - Estancia Merlot, Ecco Domani Cabernet or Merlot

I don't know if you will like my answer but anyway ,How about trying to make your own!! It is very fun and each bottle is only about a dollar to make. You can buy the supplies and make at home or go to a wine making place and pick one out and they will make it for you. Otherwise I only can tell you what I would buy. Black Tower or Matues Rose.

YellowTail shiraz....LilPenguin Cab...Cavit Pinot Noir

first of all, don't waste youe money on yellowtail. if you want an australian shiraz, try wishing tree. Spain makes quite a few good inexpensive wines. I like the red guitar and mano a mano. A good american cab is mcmanus. all of these are $8-$12. an extremely good wine, but more expensive ($30) is the herman story grenache. go to a wine store, not a supermarket, and ask the person who works there. they should know.

We like the Chilean wines as they are reasonably prices and decent quality.
