Whats your favorite martini and whats in it?!

Question: Watermelon Martini

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
5 cups watermelon, seeds removed
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/4 cups vodka
2 ounces melon liqueur, optional
8 lemon twists, for garnish

Bring the sugar and water to a boil in a small saucepan and cook until the sugar has completely dissolved. Let cool.
In a food processor, puree the watermelon flesh. Add a little of the sugar syrup to sweeten, to taste. Pour the pureed watermelon into 2 empty ice cube trays and freeze for at least 4 hours.

I prefer mine made with vodka instead of gin, and I LOVE blue cheese olives in mine - preferably 3! It has to be ice cold, too!

A good quality vodka, a whisper of vermouth and a dry olive served in a classic martini glass. Naturally the first 2 ingredients are poured into a shaker full of ice, stirred for a minute and poured out over a strainer.

My favorite is a Classic Manhattan:

Bourbon or Rye whiskey
sweet vermouth
Angostura bitters

At a bar, I like mine with Rye (Van Winkle) or Bourbon (Makers Mark), served straight up, dry (3:1), stirred with ice and strained into a cocktail glass, and garnished with a stemmed Maraschino cherry.

At home, I'll take mine sweeter (2:1)...using Bourbon (Rebel Yell, George Dickel, or Jack Daniels), on the rocks in an old-fashioned glass (lowball glass), with a "muddle" of cherries.

Wow...now I've got the jones for it at 2:30 PM...never too early for one, though...thanks!!! ;-)

Dry Ketel One Vodka Martini up,
Stired not shaken,
With either a twist or 3 olives

Just a greygoose martini... 2 olives!!

Grey Goose martini with 2 bleu cheese stuffed green olives.

Mine is kind of gross, but I love it- Tonic, Blue Curacao, and Dekuyper raspberry pucker on ice

ps. glows pretty cool under black light

POMEGRANATE ROSE MARTINI
Three Olives Vanilla Vodka, Triple Sec, Sence Rose Nectar, Pomegranate Syrup and Fresh Lime Juice

Gin. Stir with a couple of ice cubes. Pour into a chilled glass that has had vermouth swirled in it and dumped out. Add a couple of olives.
