Can you drink alcohol while taking Zoloft?!

Question: You can drink alcohol with anything, however, it is HIGHLY UNreccomended to mix alcohol with any kind of drug due to the unpredictability of the concoction in your stomach. Especially since you are talking of mixing uppers(zoloft, I think is an upper) with downers(alcohol) it would be a terrible idea!

No, you should not mix Zoloft and alcohol. You should never drink and take meds as it can cause anything from hallucinations to a bleeding issue to even death if mixxed incorrectly.

This is an excerpt from the package insert of sertraline (Zoloft): Patients should be told that although sertraline hydrochloride has not been shown in experiments with normal subjects to increase the mental and motor skill impairments caused by alcohol, the concomitant use of sertraline hydrochloride and alcohol is not advised.
