Requirements:
A corny keg or 2 or 7...
A CO2 tank (or Nitrogen tank if you are going to push with N)
A dual gauge regulator (one gauge shows tank pressure, one gauge shows output pressure)
Taps & hoses

It can be difficult to do the original build, but once it is setup, the only work involved is changing the keg out whenever you float one. Add to that the occasional CO2 tank refill, and proper cleaning and maintainence, and you're good to go.

The brew from a keg will be very consistant. Once the pressure is set, there's really nothing that can change until that keg emptys out.

Kegging is also nice because then you can force carb a brew instead of using priming sugars.

For more information, I'd recommend checking out the forums at http://www.homebrewtalk.com

I'm also considering kegging my brew, and run across this site. It is very informative. Click on the "sample kegging procedure" to see a description of setting up.

I don't live in the UK, so I can't help you with a place to buy. Hope this helps. Good luck and good brew.
