Nope....Methamphetamine is an illicit drug produced in illegal metamphetamine labs.
Anphetamine is a broader term that could include any
sympathomimeticamine.
Look at this way:
Meth is a brand and model like a Ford Mustang GT
Amphetamine is more broad like just saying Ford but
not specifying a year, make, or model.
