Which country produces the best beer in the world ?!

Question: Germany or Czech Republic

Answers: Germany or Czech Republic

I'd have to say Belgium. They have soooo many excellent styles that are only produced there. That country is tops on my places to visit list.

USA. In the past 10 years, the microbrewery industry and smaller brew pubs have been turning out the best beers in the world.

Belgium....hands down.

P.S. FYI....the USA's Micro-brew explosion was like twenty years ago, yes there has been a resurgence and we are producing some excellent beers, Belgium by far has everyone beat, and if you doubt, go grab a Chimay or a Corsendonk....any style......go ahead.....I'll wait

Hmmmm......thought so

p.s. for those of you that think heineken is a good beer.....ummmm.....I am so sorry (basic lager yes)..........and for those that put down Heineken but are pro Beck's.......reallly?

Germany. The United States does have some excellent microbrews, but the Germans still do it better than anybody, especially locally produced beers that aren't exported or sold much to outsiders. Pretty much every small town you visit will have its own brewery, and they're all delicious.

I know most every country will want to say that, but I think the Germans are the best.

Okay, so I know I'll get some crap for this but, America! We have so many little brew pubs with great beer. Any kind of beer you want, you get. Plus who doesn't want to support a small business?!

If many craft beer fans are to be believed, Belgium produces many of the finest beers in the world, including the beer that is in first place on many craft beer sites. Belgian beers consistently place high in rankings at various international tastings and competitions.

Of course, a strong case could be made for either Germany or the United States. This is due to the wide range of brews made by each as well as the high standards that many breweries in these two countries place on their products.

As much as I like Corona I would have to say Mexico

Calsberg - Denmark
Corona - Mexico
Heineken - Holland

Goldstar - Israel (This I added just because!!!)

Edit - Why would someone give me the thumbs down for that???

USA, hands down!!!
I've had the best tasting and most creative microbrews ever in this country.

Austria

Going by the judgment of the late Michael Jackson (the worlds leading beer expert) I'd have to go with the American Micro brew. Personally, I like Belgium myself, but the wonders that are coming from the US "underground" are so diverse and wonderfully crafted you can't argue with MJ.

To DeeZee:

I'll give you three reasons that you got a thumbs down:

Calsberg, Corona and Heineken

To elbanda:

Don't throw stones... You like Rolling Rock.

according to the locals
ALL

Well i'd have to give it to Germany....because come on they have octoberfest and they know beer better than anyone... then its Canada they drink beer better than anyone....

Germany hands down.
*Becks
*Hefenweizen
*St. Pauli Girl

Mexico.
*Dos XX
*Victoria
*Modelo
*Pacifico

USA
*Amber Bock
*ROlling Rock
*Widmer Hefenweizen

Peru
*Pilsner Callao
*Pilsner Trujillo
*Crystal
*Cusquena

And for those who think that Coronas are good, I bet you think Heinekens are good too. You don't know what good beer is. You are just going along with mainstream.

GERMANY!! Hands down, I lived there for three years and American beer tastes like rancid horse piss to me now. Micro-breweries!?!? Please! Every single town in Germany has a brewery, if it's just two roads intersecting in the middle of nowhere, with two houses, they still have their own beer. Most of them have been brewing and perfecting their beer, long before there was even a USA. Rolling Rock & Sam Adams can piss off.
