Spodi recipes?!

Question:

Spodi recipes?

Does anybody know any good spodi recipes without the use of Everclear?

Answers:
Ahhh the magnificent Spodie. A wonderful way to consume alcohol with out drinking. That will make sense after you read this. To create a Spodie you need to take many different types of fruit and cut them up. We used Lemons, Kiwi, Strawberries, Oranges, Cantaloupe, and Grapes. Usually you fill a clean garbage can but for travel purposes we used a standard gallon pitcher. Fill the pitcher 3/4 full of the fruit you cut into bite size pieces. Fill pitcher with alcohol until all the fruit is covered. We suggest rum, vodka, triple sec, and maybe a little Everclear. (Caution: if you use Everclear be very careful with the amount you use, it is hard to taste in fruit, but is very potent, and should NEVER be consumed straight.) Now let everything soak, that is the key. We let ours sit for 2 days before we began to indulge ourselves. It's that simple eat the fruit. Only a piece or two at a time. The longer they sit and based on the type of fruit the more potent it will be. The average is about a shot of alcohol per piece. You can drink the left over juice, we chose to blend it with ice. That is the simplicity and joy of the Spodie.
