Yes, you can.

This is called water intoxication, and it's very dangerous. It happens when you drink so much water, your body can't eliminate it fast enough. As a result, the electrolyte levels in your blood get dangerously low. Your body reacts by trying to suck excess water into cells, particular in the brain and nervous system, causing them to cease function and even explode.

It's not "drunk", as with booze, but too much water can make you lightheaded, at first. Next, you can get nauseous, possibly fall into a coma, and even die.

In fact, last year, a woman, Jennifer Lee Strange, died from water intoxication, in a radio contest called "Hold you wee for a Wii"... trying to win a Nintendo Wii by drinking water and not peeing it out. Urine and sweat are produced as a means of regulating water in your body, to keep electrolyte levels safe... if you block that process, it's very dangerout.

water? i know that you can drown yourself by drinking too much if it.

No, but you can die of hyperhydration

You can't get DRUNK from water, but you CAN drink too much water. People (especially athletes) die from this....it's called hyperhydration or water intoxication. It's when your blood stream has been thinned down too much by a quick intake of a large quantity of water, causing your organs to shut down, because your blood cannot transport oxygen efficiently.

Apparently. From About.com

"Drinking too much water can lead to a condition known as water intoxication and to a related problem resulting from the dilution of sodium in the body, hyponatremia."

Nope - water is not an intoxicant. The high from the spirits comes from the fact that it's pure poison to the system.

No you can't get drunk off water. However, it is possible to overdose on water. This occurs when the normal balance of electrolytes in the body is pushed outside of safe limits. Typically this will only happen if a person tries to drink more than a gallon of water in just a couple of minutes.
