Franzia wine?!

Question: Which style of Franzia wine is the best?

I'm throwing a party and I'm thinking of having a box or two of Franzia wine for people to drink. Yes, I know it's cheap stuff but I'm on a budget and I need a good quantity. And about how much does a box cost?

Thanks!

If your guests are wine drinkers I would strongly recommend a box of chianti (red). I drink it as my "weekday wine" and my brother and friend have started drinking it regularly as well after trying it. Serve it at room temperature. You can also get a box of chardonnay (white) to please most guests and serve it chilled. If your guests are only occasional wine drinkers or not in to dry red wine I would suggest a white zinfandel or a rose. These should be served chilled as well. The price will range from about $12 for the chianti to $16 for the chardonnay for a 5.5 liter box which is equal to about 6 1/2 bottles. I do not know the prices for the smaller size box.

Get a rose or blush- that way you've got a happy medium between white and red. There's 2 sizes. The smaller is around 9-10 and the large is 13-15.
