What do you think about someone getting you a bottle of wine from the 99 cent store?!

Question: It's a 1999 Pinot Noir, its not tainted, but for some reason they had these GLASS wine bottles there and I bought one

I'm going to try it out first, but what feelings would you have to getting a bottle of wine that tasted good, it was 8 years old, but it did come from the dollar store for the holidays

Just don't tell them you found it at the dollar store. Nobody needs to know where you bought it.

Wow- yes please, I'll take a case.

where is this store at?? i love cheap wine!!

I think I would keep it until I could serve it to them the next time they visit.

i'd pour it out.

I once found some wine in a dollar store, walked out with 3 cases. Was actually some decent wine for only being a dollar a bottle. I'd say taste it yourself before you give it out as gifts, then just don't mention where you bought it...

Not much

It's a widely held mistake to think that flavor is a function of price. There are some really good inexpensive wines and some very expensive wine that tastes like vinegar. The best wines are whatever you like. For 99 cents a bottle, unless you don't drink, try it before you give it as a gift.

If it tastes good, does it really matter where it came from? Even if I was told "I got this at the dollar store. Can you believe it?" I'd probably just laugh, try it and declare it good. lol

I bought some wine at the Aldi's by my parents' house. I got 2 bottles.... spent $10 total. So $.99 wine would be fine with me. lol

They have that there? Wish I was more of a wine drinker.

With the exception of home pregnancy tests or life jackets, everything is fair game at the dollar store.
