What is some good mixed drinks with rum and blueberrys?!


Question: 1.5 oz Appleton VX Rum or any rum
1 tsp Raw Sugar
12-16 Blueberries
10 Basil Leaves
4 Mint Leaves
? Lime
Top Soda Water

Muddle basil, mint, sugar and lime juice in base of a shaker glass. Add blueberries and continue to muddle. Add rum and ice and shake. Fill collins glass with ice and strain muddled rum mixture into the glass and top with club soda. Garnish with a lime.

OR TRY THIS ONE....

1 handful mint leaves
1 Tsp. granulated sugar
Quarter wedge of lime
1/2 to 3/4 cup lemonade
1 oz. light rum
2 Tbsp. fresh or frozen blueberries(1 tblsp smashed to create some juice)
Splash of soda
1/2 oz. dark rum
Sprig of mint for garnish
Slice of lime for garnish

Ice In a tall 16oz glass, add mint leaves and sugar. Squeeze juice from the lime wedge into the glass. Mash the ingredients with the back of a spoon or a special wooden "muddler" until the mixture is fragrant. Fill glass with ice. Add lemonade until the glass is 2/3 full. Add splash of soda, then add light rum and blueberries and stir. Slowly pour dark rum into the drink so it floats on top. Garnish with a sprig of mint and lime then serve. Enjoy!
