Answers: Put the cap against the edge of something such as a table and firmly grasp bottle with your left hand. Use your right and and slap downward on your left hand and the cap will pop right off. Do it all the time!

I use a fork to loosen the grip, care is needed tho' the fork could slip and cut you - I know from experience!

If it's the last beer, bite off the top, glass and all. that will keep people from mooching. If yoy wear a heavy ring, you can use it to pry of the top just like an opener. Don't use your teeth, it will come back to haunt you!

Use a rounded blade knife point, an outside fork tine, the edge of a pointy spoon, a sturdy screwdriver. All of these just place between the metal crown and the glass and use as a lever.
Just make sure that whatever you use is very sturdy, you don't want to lose an eye or similar.

If you are talking about crown bottle tops it is a piece of cake.
Get a spoon or fork, put the curved handle uppermost under one of the points of the crown. Holding the bottle in your hand, holding the spoon over your finger a quick jerk downwards with your other hand and off comes the top.
Or provided the landlord/landlady/your mum is not looking use the edge of the counter/table instead of the spoon/fork a swift movement of a flat hand will force the cap off.
