If you are a recovering alcoholic, what are some thing that have kept you sober?!

Answers: Thanks

Remembering the past days, and recalling the past days that were told to you by others, as being so wasted, you didn't even realize what you had done!

casual sex

I'm not, so I can't say for sure, but I have heard that, as bad as it is for you, smoking cigarettes takes the edge off, and that substituting coffee or tea (something hot that you can only sip) helps sooth you.

not buying beer or alcohol. and not hanging out where there is alcohol available.

i had to attend these AA meetings for my DUI charge and i must admit that it does work. the people there are very friendly, open, and committed to being sober 24/7. I've now finished that program and still attend it because my drinking was beginning to scare everyone around me (including myself). but not no more.
