Why does your face go red when you drink beer?!

Question: Normally it is because those hundreds of small capillaries near the surface open up (dilate) during drinking, and more blood flows through them as a result. Since there is more blood flowing close to the surface of the skin, it turns red.

People that have this type of reaction are more prone to high blood pressure and the "veining" of the nose that serious alcoholism brings.

it depends, there could be a few reasons why.
i know my friend is allergic to alcohol substances and his face turns red when he drinks even a little bit, and sometimes it will even burn.

Why are you looking at my face when I drink beer? You should be looking at the girls in the bar or club, not me.
