Cigars and Drinks, what are your experiences?
I recently have tried paring my cigars with alcohol to see if it will enchance the taste and pleasure of a good cigar. Needless to say my palate is not that qeen yet, but just yesterday i paired a Camacho Negro with a Sam Adams Cherry Wheat and it was nothing short of delicious. The Camacho is noted with cherry flavor and woody and the Sam just enhanced it. Though I tried a red ale with it as well and it was horriable.....What have you tried or what do you like with a cigar? What kind of drink and cigar?

I smoke a variety of hand rolled cigars such as Diamond Crown, Opus X, CAO's, Partagas, etc...
My preferred drinks with a cigar:
Cognac
Single Malt Scotch
Port Wine or Sherry
New Castle or Guiness
Michelob
Dr Pepper
Coffee
You just have to keep at it until you find the combination that works for you. With that in mind, you can have a full bodied cigar with a certain beer and it might not work and vice a versa.
