Beer before liquor, never been sicker; liquor before beer, you're in the clear

is the saying, but its never really a good idea to mix to many kinds of alcohol. especially since now you know you cant handle it. Stick to one kind of liqour and drink plenty of water durring the day you plan to drink.

Stick to one or the other...

it's don't mix beer and wine

Rule of thumb is "liquor then beer, nothing to fear. Beer and then liquor, never sicker."

Its absolutely cool to be doing both - if you can take it and do it right.
Actually drinking beer and "hard liquor" is a tradition in Germany - homeland of drinking beer.
There its called having "a short and a long one", meaning one small glass (2cl) of "Korn"-some clear liquor like vodka, and one average glass (0.33liter) of beer.
This mix gets you buzzed a lot faster than only on beer and it comes on nicely without having to get all filled up like by drinking 3 or 4 liters of beer.

Beer first
Spirits second

You get sick from drinking too much alcohol -- NOT from drinking any particular combination of alcoholic beverages.

You can have a beer at home, a cocktail at a restaurant before dinner, wine with dinner and a cordial with dessert -- and you will be fine.

Drink a six-pack of tall boys & a quart of wine and -- just keep your head turned away from me.

Search intoxikon.com for information about drugs & alcohol. There is a book called "The Doctor's Hangover Handbook by Dr. John Brick available through Booklocker.com that may answer your question.

When you drink you should mix the effects are what you want!!! now you can do like jack(whiskey) with a beer chaser! dont settle for a cheap beer though! use like Kilians or Stella as a chaser.
something to remember about beer it has co2 and the fizz tend to fill you up!!
try coke then fallow with a glas of milk same trick happen with acohol!

stick to one or the other but if you do decide to mixing its liquor b4 beer makes u sicker beer b4 liquor you in the clear but im opposite i can drink liquor until im buzzing and then i switch to a few beers and im ok so its a person to person

The rule is to drink hard liquor first, then beer.
